1. Acceptance and access

By accessing or using CareerPilot AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.

CareerPilot AI is a monthly-access service designed to rewrite CVs and generate personalized cover letters for specific job applications.

2. Account creation and service availability

• You may need to create an account to access some features.
• You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account.
• You must not share access in a way that bypasses plan limits or intended usage.
• We may update, suspend, or improve features as the product evolves.

3. Plans and pricing

CareerPilot AI currently offers one public monthly access plan:

Prices are shown in euros and may be subject to applicable tax or VAT.

4. Billing and renewals

• You may purchase monthly access through the checkout flow shown on the website.
• Each payment activates one month of access to CareerPilot Pro.
• There is no automatic renewal and no surprise recurring charge.
• If you want to continue after your access period ends, you may purchase another month.
• Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law, charges already processed are not reversed automatically.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform. In particular, you must not:

• Use CareerPilot AI for malicious, fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity.
• Upload harmful code, malware, or content intended to damage the service or other users.
• Attempt unauthorized access, scraping beyond permitted use, or interference with system integrity.
• Resell, sublicense, mirror, or commercially redistribute the service without written authorization.
• Use generated materials in a way that infringes third-party rights or applicable law.

6. Product limitations and disclaimers

CareerPilot AI is an application support tool. It can help improve documents and tailor them to a role, but it does not guarantee employment, interview invitations, recruiter responses, or job offers.

Outputs may require user review and editing. You remain responsible for how you use generated content, submit applications, and represent your qualifications.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CareerPilot AI is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We exclude implied warranties where legally permitted and limit liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law, including applicable French or European consumer protections.

8. Account suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the platform, create security risks, or if continued access would expose us or other users to harm or legal risk.

We may also remove or disable content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we will provide notice by email or through the product before the updated terms take effect.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law and applicable European Union law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country of residence.
